More good news!

I have been talking a lot lately about our exciting mission poles project, but in this CEO letter I want to talk about the SuperBible and some exciting things that are happening here in NZ and overseas with it.

Here in NZ the Trinity Koha Dental Clinic (a mobile dental initiative run by YWAM Ships Aotearoa and Trinity Lands Limited) is using the printed bilingual comics. This initiative provides free dental care to those in need and was recently on the East Coast of the North Island.

Here is some feedback I received recently from a friend of mine who is in leadership at YWAM regarding the comics and the project. Here’s what he said: “I had some great feedback from our TKDC dental outreach in Tauranga. They have been intentionally giving out Te Tino Korero, and it’s been really well received. A pastor who saw the comics was interested as well. How could I get a box for them to use at their church?”

And on the international front, there is even more good news.

We have just added 78 comics and 24 videos in Bahasa Indonesian. This is a great step as it will tie in with the radio ministry we have in Indonesia.

We have worked with RBAU to get Matu translations done for Myanmar. Myanmar is heavily restricted and highly hostile to Christian outreach. Ranked among the most dangerous countries for Christians, the military junta severely limits religious freedom and regularly targets churches and Christian workers. Please pray for the effectiveness of these printed comics as they are distributed and for our partners there.

We have also spent considerable time and energy streamlining and aligning all the comics and videos across all the platforms on which they are distributed (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Telegram, as well as the Android and iOS apps).
